2007-2008 Studio Policies

Respect:  Be respectful of yourself and others, negativity will not be permitted.  Encourage each other at all times.  Be neat and clean.  Take care of our studio, any intentional damages are grounds for termination of registration.

Commitment:  When joining Dance Magic we would expect that you are ready to commit for the full session (Sept-May 31st) Students may not come and go as they please throughout the year due to the fact the others will be progressing and it would slow down the class.  Completion will instill a life lesson of respect, discipline and reward.

Dress Code: Wear appropriate dance attire.  The dress code is as follows
Ballet students must wear leotard and tights, any color, and leather ballet shoes with an elastic strap across the top of the foot.  Hair must be pulled out of face either in a bun or a secure ponlytail.  No jewelry except stud earrings.
Tap students should wear non-constricting clothing such as tank or t-shirs and shors or stretch cotton capri pants.
Jazz students must wear jazz pants or capri's and a cami tank or t-shirt. (Ballet attire is also acceptable)  Jazz shoes are required. Hair must be secured out of face.
Hip-Hop students may wear loose fitting pants and shirts.  Hip-Hop shoes are required.  No street shoes will be permitted.

Consequences: There are consequences for not following the above rules of respect, commitment and attire:
Warning
Time-out
Sent home with meeting request
Termination of registration

No Food or Gum: There is no food or gum in class.  Please only bring water.
