Have you ever attended a workshop and not really known who the instructor was going to be?  That's exactly what half of the fun of being at What Workshop??? in Redmond, Oregon is all about.

Loy Sampels and Janice Hanzel created the most exciting and truly unique clogging extravaganza ever put on in the Northwest.  Just call us the "New Mini-Mini Nationals" with a great big WOW factor!  What Workshop???2007 was totally dynamite, packed with lots of punch and WOW!

Friday night is a party theme.  What Workshop???2007 theme was "Ugliest Party Outfit" with a $50 prize for the best gal and guy outfits.  There were 6 distinguished judges among them were the "Renegade Roller Girls!"

The "WhatMobile" hid 3 instructors for What Workshop???2007.
Scotty Bilz, Jeff Driggs & Barry Welch.

Friday night's party theme was made complete by the wonderful food, catered by the fairgrounds.  The dinner was lasagna, salad and wine at the tables, with cake for dessert and of course the dance.  Our next day's lunch included a fantastic buffet of lunch meats with salads galore and soup.  We topped off Saturday night with an ice cream social.

Friday night DJ Dan Dubay was incredible with all kinds of great music to clog to.  Madelyn Zelenka won Dan on EBAY and donated him to the What Workshop???2007.  Thank you Madelyn!  Saturday night live Bluegrass music with LeRoy & the Sidekicks.  We were totally entertained with Jeff Driggs jamming with the band and singing for us too!

Denise and Debbie headed up a great dance game which they create on their own every year with fun and crazy prizes adding to the festivities, along with decorating masks.

Every year What Workshop has an incredible raffle table packed full of really cool things.  Madelyn Zelenka does an amazing job of getting it all organized and decorated.

We the cloggers were truly blessed to have been part of What Workshop???2007.  It was an amazing gift given to the clogging community from Loy Sampels and Janice Hanzel.  We thank you both sooo much!
